"The Bible says speaking of itself that it's the inspired word of God that is it's God breathed it's the very words of God given to each one of us and it's given to us so that it would serve us to point us to God points to God to to give us everything we need for life and godliness it's in many ways the owners the manual to life." [00:35:11] (26 seconds)

"While everyone might be entitled to their own opinion, no one is entitled to their own facts. And the fact of the matter is, the Bible has stood the test of time despite countless people doing everything they can to discredit its validity. The problem is, everyone that goes to attack the Scripture, almost all of them find out that God's Word is true. They're not going to believe it. They're not going to believe it. They're not going to believe it. They're not going to believe it. They're not going to believe it. They're not And they end up finding Christ." [00:39:55] (24 seconds)

"The Bible is perfect in accomplishing this purpose of pointing us to Jesus. Second, God's word is trustworthy. It says the statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The word trustworthy means it can be authenticated and validated as reliable. And so it means the Bible can handle any and all scrutiny that's thrown at it." [00:45:10] (22 seconds)

"God's Word gives us everything we need for life and godliness and it teaches us what's right, what's moral, what's true for our daily lives. It puts us on a straight and narrow path if we're willing to follow its precepts and live within its boundaries. One commentator said it this way, Folks, this is not just a book. This is the owner's manual." [00:57:06] (32 seconds)

"The closer you get to the word, the more the light of his truth exposes the darkness around you. And so if you live your life independent of God's word, I promise you, you are shrouded in darkness. But if you come close to the word and you spend time in the word, God's word will give you sight and it will illuminate what's going on around you and actually in you." [00:59:47] (27 seconds)

"God's word is also pure. The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. It just simply means it's free of harshness. That God's word contains no impurity. There's no mixture of error. There's no error to defile it. There's no stain to pollute it. It is infallible and inerrant and therefore authoritative for every one of our lives." [01:00:34] (26 seconds)

"Listen, this is from the Living Bible, but it's Hebrews chapter four, verse 12. For whatever God says, to us is full of living power. It is sharper than the sharpest dagger, cutting swift and deep into our innermost thoughts and desires with all their parts. Look at this next part, exposing us for what we really are." [01:01:52] (25 seconds)

"See, God's word enriches us. God's word rewards those who pursue it and apply it to their lives. In fact, if I, if I, here for you today and said, I know one thing, one thing that I promise you, if you will do this, you will be successful. You will be blessed. You will have more than you can begin to imagine." [01:03:06] (26 seconds)

"God doesn't want you and me to live our lives on our own he's given us his word to help guide us so that we can live our lives trusting in him and allowing him to direct our steps his word is key to living this life and so I want to ask you to make a commitment today new and afresh God's not here to shame you I'm certainly not here to shame you but if you would say God today I want to begin new and afresh making a commitment to be in your word and I ask you to meet with me and to speak with me and to guide my steps and so today Father new and afresh I'm making a commitment if you would do that however you want to do it if you want to raise your hand if you want to lift your head up to heaven if you want to raise a pinky if you want to raise a pinky or even wiggle a big toe would you some physical way say God I want to make a new commitment to you to be in your word Father you know each person's heart and Father you certainly know our need and Father we need you and we are so blessed to have access to your word and I pray for each one of us Lord that we would make it a priority even if it's five minutes a day even if it's reading the Bible three times a day through in a year our Father picking up the Anchored Devotional and reading that small little passage and thinking about it Lord I pray that you would speak to us and guide us thank you Father for our time today in Jesus name Amen" [01:08:17] (108 seconds)
