40s
“When God speaks to you and you don't listen, you are responsible. And, you know, this is the kind of preaching that was happening about a century ago. They called it hell hell, fire, and brimstone because preachers were telling society, hey, wake up. You're responsible for the stuff that you're doing. And you might be thinking, well, pastors of hell, fire, hells, fire, and brimstone kind of pastor too. I'm not doing this to impress you, and I'm not doing this to convince anyone. This is a warning from God. You don't mess with God. You don't mess with the voice of the Holy Spirit.”
33s
“The stuff that destroys human beings is the violation of the voice of God. God tells you something and you don't do it. That is where the trouble is. Or he tells you to do something, you don't. He tells you to stop something and you don't. That's the problem. It's rebellion against the Holy Spirit. Why the Holy Spirit? Because the Holy Spirit is convicting. The Holy Spirit is calling. He says, why are you lying against the Holy Spirit? This is a a deal between you and God.”
31s
“you don't violate your own conscious. That's the point. And you do not violate the voice of the Holy Spirit. So he's telling him, hey, before you sold it, wasn't it yours? And then after you sold it, wasn't the money yours? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men, but to God. In other words, you could have gotten away with this. People would not have known. You lied to God.”
