#GoodNewsRighteousness
“It's really good news. It is great news. God is not counting people's sins against them. All this guilt and shame that we deal with is not actually necessary. God is making a way for us to stand in righteousness before him. The word for ambassador there is one that that denotes that he has appointed us as officials in his administration to go and proclaim his message to those outside the kingdom. That's God's gift to us, that we get to be the one sharing the message.”

#DontRejectTheGift
“And if we don't go and share the message, then we're rejecting God's gift. Now I don't think of it in those terms a lot of times, but if you're not sharing the gospel of Christ on a daily basis, then you're rejecting the gift of God. God is trying to give you a gift, and you're saying, no. Thanks, God. I got plenty right here. I don't need what you got.”

#DeclareDontStress
“God says that you are to go and declare the message, and he's gonna take care of the reconciliation. So you actually have nothing to worry about as far as messing it up. You're just declaring the message. God's the one taking care of the child. He's the one doing it. There's not nearly as much stress on you as we often think that that there is. And so I wanna give you couple tips and ways to understand how to do this because now I know that all of us are gonna be ready to go out and do it. Right? We're all gonna be ready to share our faith with others. We we now realize we can, but we also realize we don't really know how.”

#LearnAboutThem
“It's not for new people. It's for Jesus' people. The question is, will you commit? You know, we we said we would commit to our lives to Christ. What did Jesus tell us to become? He said, go into all the world and make church doors out of everybody? Go into all the world and make disciples. We're supposed to be disciples. Christ, you know what disciple means? Student. Student means you sit underneath the teacher and learn from that teacher. So will you commit to being a disciple? Someone that comes and learns from Christ? Someone that comes and learns how to be a better Christian, a better ambassador, a a better at sharing this gospel, better at understanding it first, better at deepening my faith so that it's something I experience, not just a bunch of facts that I know. Will you commit to that?”

#StartCasualListenLove
“That fun and exciting person that gets passionate about things that you talk about, like when you were 22. That's who you've got to look for. You can start out with a casual conversation, but you start working towards a meaningful you're looking for ways in which you can move that. You're looking for ramps to a spiritual conversation from there when people mention things, people mention their kids, when people mention their loved ones, when they mention something that is important to them, they are giving you permission to ask more about those things that are important to them, not because you're trying to work someone and manipulate them. Your goal is not to make it to a decision. That's not your goal. Do you remember your goal? To love them and to listen to them. That's your only goal. If you never make it out of casual, that's your only goal. If you never make it past meaningful, that's your only goal.”

#DownshiftConversations
“Don't force things. Don't back off sometimes when you need to. Don't force different conversations. If people don't wanna talk with you about things, that's fine. You can back off. One thing I've learned is when you shift in gears in a car, what happens if you get in the third gear and then it starts to bog down because the conversation is going too slow? There is no harm in downshifting. Well, why would we think that that is somehow a failure on our part in a conversation if when you're driving a car, you know, that you shift up and down all time. That's just part of going with the flow. You're just going with the flow. Sometimes you've gotta shift back down. Maybe you need to head back down to first gear. Go back to casual things and work your way back up again. Don't force them.”

#BoldFaithSharing
“Know that when you do, you are implying two things when you move into a spiritual conversation. One, you've just been outed as a follower of Jesus. You are telling them that you are a follower of Jesus when you try to move into that spiritual conversation and you are openly operating as a spiritual person. Do you understand how evangelical that is to people? How attractive that is to the faith when they see someone that's not shy, not embarrassed, not hiding it. I love Jesus. I walk with Jesus and that's what we're gonna do. I got no problem talking to you about Jesus because what have they encountered? People who don't wanna talk about Jesus.”

#CommitToDiscipleship
“You're not. And your boldness in stepping forward gives them permission to be bold as well. And so when you ask a con a question like, well, how do you deal with that stress and anxiety of those mornings? They may say, you know, I try to turn on the radio and just get it playing on the way to work or I may get peace and quiet. You may be able to share something like, can I tell you what I do when I'm overwhelmed like that? And when I'm in those stressful situations, can I share that with you? You invited them into it. You asked them if you could, and then you shared your spiritual story. Well, for me, I found that having a relationship with Christ, I can talk to him anytime, and and I can be real with him and it really unloads me to be able to share that with someone that I know that can carry that. And so writing to work with Jesus helps me.”
