#JesusPerfectSacrifice
“``Number five, Jesus is our perfect sacrifice. Here's a beautiful part of the gospel. This is why we are Christians today. This got me right here. This right here. This right here just got me right here. God stopped Abraham from sacrificing Isaac, but no one stopped the father from sacrificing Jesus. Isaac carried wood. Jesus carried a cross. Isaac was spared. Jesus was pierced. Isaac walked back down the mountain. Jesus walked into death so that we can walk into life. Because Jesus became the sacrifice we no longer surrender to earn God's love. We surrender because we've already received his love. We don't climb onto the altar hoping God accepts us. We climb onto the altar because we've already been accepted through Christ.”

#WorshipIsSurrender
“Real worship is not measured by how loud we sing. Real worship is measured by how completely we surrender. That's worship to God. Why God? Why is this? He says because some people can lift up both hands in church while holding tight to bitterness inside them. Some can sing like angels while refusing to forgive. Some can speak in tongues but use obscene language and cuss people out. The Lord is asking today, do I have all of you? Because partial surrender is still rebellion, and rebellion is at is as unto witchcraft. That's what Samuel told king Saul.”

#AbrahamsHeartTest
“Imagine Abraham placing Isaac on the altar. He wasn't simply laying down his son. Okay? We just think he was just laying down. He was just laying down his son. He's sacrificing his son. It was, you know, it was a it was an act of faith, just laying down his son. No. He was laying down more than his son. He was laying down his dreams. He was laying down his future. He was laying down his legacy. He was laying down his security. Everything he waited decades to receive, years to receive, he laid it down. But God wasn't after Isaac. God was after Abraham's heart.”

#BecomeLikeChrist
“The greatest enemy of revival isn't the devil, it's unsurrendered flesh. The greatest obstacle to God's fire isn't persecution, it's compromise. And I could preach on compromise for a minute. God cannot feel hands that refuse to open. My mother used to tell me a closed mouth won't get fed. He cannot occupy hearts that remains divided. Here's question number one. Be honest with yourself. And this is what you ask yourself, am I more committed to looking like a Christian than becoming like Christ?”

#RevivalPurifies
“Fire purifies. Fire exposes. Fire transforms. Fire burns away what doesn't belong. Church of revival comes, it won't come simply to make us happier. We wanna be when we have revival, we just wanna be happy. We just wanna be happier, but it will make us holier. Happiness is a product of holiness. We won't merely it won't merely excite you, it will change you. Saints, we don't want a church that simply knows how to shout. We don't. We want a church that knows how to surrender. Because one fades before you even reach the parking lot. The other changes your life forever.”

#SurrenderedHearts
“Church, God has never been interested in an empty religion. Okay? He was looking for surrendered hearts. In biblical time, the altar represented death. Whatever was placed on the altar no longer belonged to the person who brought it. It belonged entirely to God. There was no climbing back off the altar. It was a place where self died, where ownership changed, and where complete surrender took place. Before there were ever fire from heaven, there was always a sacrifice on the altar. God has always responded to surrendered lives.”

#ThroneOfTheHeart
“The greatest battle is the battle for the throne. Listen to this. Here's the real issue. Every heart is every heart in here has a throne. All of your heart has a throne, and only one person can sit on it. Sometimes it's Jesus. Sometimes it's self. Sometimes it's money. Sometimes it's fear. Sometimes it's reputation. Sometimes it's your job. Sometimes it's comfort. The question is the question isn't whether we worship. The question is what and who we worship. Because you're gonna worship somebody or something, but who is it?”
49s
#AltarBeforeFire
“Number four, fire never falls without an altar. This is the one greatest pattern in scripture. When Noah built an altar, God responded. When Elijah repaired their altar, fire failed. When Solomon dedicated the temple, fire failed. When the disciples surrendered in the upper room, fire failed. God's fire follows consecration. You have to be set apart. You have to be set apart for God's use. We often pray, Lord, send your fire. But am I willing to pray, Lord, consume whatever you don't want in me?”
52s
#WhatWouldYouPlaceOnTheAltar
“That don't even make sense. We will call him foolish, yet many Christians ask God for revival while refusing to surrender. We ask for fire, but we never build an altar. In order for fire to come, an altar had to be built. Question number two, if today were the day I stood before Christ, what would I wish I had placed on the altar? If today were the day I stood before Jesus Christ, what would I had wished I had placed on his altar?”

#LoveJesusAboveAll
“Let me put it this way. If Jesus Christ walked into this building right now and sat beside you And he said, place on my altar the theme, things, or person you love the most, what would be the hardest for you to lay down? Would it be your children? Would it be your plans? Would it be your family? Would it be your comfort? Would it be your finances? How about your reputation? Would it be your future? How about the secret sin? Would it be your right to be angry? I believe the Holy Spirit is asking every one of us a deeply personal question. Is there anything in your life that you love more than me?”

#MakeJesusLord
“Whatever controls your decision, whatever occupies your thoughts, whatever you cannot surrender, that becomes your altar. Pastor Johnson, why are you so hard on me? Because God was hard on me. I'm just I'm just relaying. I'm just I'm just relaying the message. I'm not the only one who gonna get this whooping. a get everybody gonna get this. The holy spirit searches deep. Some believers have Jesus as savior, but has self still Lord. Pastor always says that not only have Jesus as your savior, but make sure he's Lord over your life. He's ruler over your life.”
60s
#DenySelfDaily
“Jesus never said, follow me when it's convenient. Follow me when you feel like it. Follow me only on Sundays. Follow me only on midday services. He said, if any man will come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me. When he said let him deny, deny means totally surrender of self will and relinquishing control of your life to submit to God, everything about you. That's the language of an altar. Imagine a farmer asking God for a harvest while refusing to plant seed.”

#WouldYouSurrenderForPrayers
“Today, I want you to be real. I'm a have questions. It's not gonna be a test. Okay? But I'm a have questions for you, and you don't have to answer me. You don't have to raise your hand. I just want you to be honest with yourself and with God when you answer these questions. Amen? The first question I'm going to ask you is, if God answered every prayer every prayer you prayed this week but require one thing in return, that you surrender one area of your life you've been holding back, would you still want the answer?”
46s
#InviteJesusIntoEveryRoom
“Jesus has access to the living room, but not the private rooms, p did he. But anyway, it'll hit some of you on your way out. We've invited him into our worship, but not our finances. Into our Sundays, but not our Mondays, into our church life, but not into our relationships. Yet God wants every room because Jesus didn't die to become part of your life, he died to become your life.”
65s
#SurrenderOverPerfection
“The next question, if Jesus held nothing back for me, am I still holding something back for him from him? Ask yourself, if he held nothing back for me, why I'm still holding things back from him? Closing. Today, God is not asking for your for your perfection. He's asking for your surrender. Some of us need to place old wounds, pride, fear, secret sand. Think nobody. We think nobody know. Don't tell nobody. The future, all on the altar.”
59s
#BringAllOfYou
“God is not intimidated. God is not gonna sit like we do. Oh, he hate me. He hate me. Because you're real. This is the way that you are feeling. He wants you to come to the altar with it. This is why Jesus said to present yourself, come yourself. Bring all of you, not some of you. I want you spirit, spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically, relationally, educationally, financially. I want these areas in your life. Bring them to me. Bring them to the altar. Because when the altar is full, fire comes.”
74s
#LayEverythingBeforeGod
“Whatever God puts his finger on, don't hold it back. Because whatever remains off the altar remains outside the fire. And church, when the altar is full, the fire comes. When surrender is complete, the glory flows. When God's people lay everything on the alt when God's people lay everything before him, the Holy Spirit delights to pour himself Give God everything. looks for everything. Sometimes when I'm here in the prayer line, praying for people, and they come and they tell me what's going on with them, and they some tell me in detail what's happening, what's going on with them. I said, you know what? I want you to tell the same thing to God, the exact same thing to God. Because you can tell it with more feelings, you can tell it with more meaning than I can pray to God.”
53s
#PresentYourBody
“I'm gonna address each of these stories as we go as we go along. Worship is more than singing. And like I said at the end of each point, I'm gonna ask a question, and please be honest with yourself and be honest with God. You don't have to tell anyone. Romans twelve one says, present your bodies as living sacrifices, holy, acceptable unto God is your reasonable service. But notice what Paul did not say. He doesn't say present your Sunday mornings, which is good. He doesn't say present your offerings, which is good. He doesn't say present your talents, because all of this is a is a byproduct of presenting yourself to God.”
48s
#ObeyLikeAbraham
“All Abraham knew was to be obedient to God. All he knew that God is gonna make it alright. If I if I do what he say, that he was gonna make it alright because all the while when Abraham when God called Abraham from his parents, Abraham was being tested in small little ways and and and and small little little tests. God test our faith. He started he started us off small, and then the ultimate test came for Abraham. Now it's time for the ultimate test to see if you're gonna obey me, to see if you're gonna place anything above me, even your son. God was tasting was testing Abraham's heart.”
41s
#WhatWouldFireBurnAway
“He was looking for a surrendered life, and fire filled. That night, God saved me and filled me with the baptism of the Holy Ghost and with fire, with the evidence of speaking in tongues. If God's holy fire fell on my life today, here's another question for you to be honest with. If God's holy fire fell on your life today, will it burn away? Will will it burn away? What will it burn away? Excuse me. If God's holy fire fell on your life today, what will it burn away?”
