"Love is one of those things that really can capture our attention. If you are infatuated in your love, this is a great time to nudge your significant other that you're sitting by. You say, I just love you so much today. For all you people who've been married now, you're like, nah, I'm good." [00:37:05] (21 seconds)

"She knows or he knows. You know, what's interesting? About love, love is a powerful thing, right? We know this in nature. It drives animals to go crazy with human beings. It drives us to go crazy. We think about it. I think about my wife and I, when we first started dating, we got together. We were in love." [00:37:41] (23 seconds)

"We would do crazy things to see each other because I was in college, uh, in theology school in Canada, in British Columbia, my wife was at a university down in Idaho, and we at the time, the international call, like calling plans for cell phones were not good. And so we loved each other. I was so infatuated at the time we were using calling cards. Remember those things we would use calling cards to talk to each other. I showed my deep love for her because I hate talking on the phone. And yet I talked on the phone with her all the time." [00:37:48] (35 seconds)

"It was, we loved each other so much. We would, I would like fly down to Idaho once every six weeks. And we'd spend a long weekend together, or I drive up or she would drive up or I drive back just to spend a few days together, right? Love is powerful." [00:38:40] (19 seconds)

"And what's interesting is when Jesus talks about our priorities, he uses the word love. He says, love the Lord, your God, he uses this, this word love. And what he's saying is your passion. Yeah. Your focus, your whole being, you are supposed to love me in that same way, or essentially God is supposed to be our number one priority." [00:38:49] (30 seconds)

"And so what's really cool is today, we're going to talk about a real simple verse. This is a verse that's so simple. You can probably memorize it by the end of the service. It's just that simple. And this verse Jesus uses to explain the entire Bible." [00:39:25] (14 seconds)

"Here's where we're going to be. Jesus says this, Jesus replied, love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul and with your mind. This is the first and the greatest commandment." [00:39:46] (16 seconds)

"And so the scripture goes on and he says, when you do all three of these things, the second is this, love your neighbors yourself. All the law and the prophets hang on these two commandments." [00:41:03] (12 seconds)

"So you need to know the first one is fresh priority of your heart. Right? Jesus says, you must love me with all your heart. Now, what he means is not the, you know, the physical heart of your organ, but what he's saying is love God with your heart. And when you begin to research and dig into this, I did a lot of digging this week. What that means is it means to love God with your desires, your affections, your emotions, your heart is actually the center of action in your life." [00:41:08] (33 seconds)

"And the more that I, I did research this week, I figured out I'm a heart guy and I'm a heart guy. And it's, and it's because these people, when I thought about emotions, I'm like, well, I'm not really an emotional guy, but I am an emotional guy. I love, and I'm passionate about things. I'm aggressive about things. I love to experience life." [00:41:43] (21 seconds)
