“But the question is, what now? I'm saved and and and so what's next? Why does the Bible urge us to make this chain, if you will, of these Christian virtues in our life? Why does it do that? Because, listen, if a believer in their life does not transform their profession that they made into practice, they become spiritually useless. If you do not transform that profession into practice, you become spiritually useless. And not only do you become spiritually useless, but that in your life, you literally pervert the purpose for which you had been called.”

“So, he says, beside this or let's lay this down, give all diligence, add to your faith, virtue. But then, not only did he say that, but so what is that if you sum it up, what's he saying? Simply this, we must not only believe, but as Christians, we must also behave. That's what it comes down to. It is vital and it is essential that a Christian has a belief that behaves. That behaves.”

“Am I growing that way? You see, listen. It is not enough in your life or my life. To to not do the things that I know I should not do. That's moral excellent. That's pretty much it's kinda speaks for itself. If I know I shouldn't do that, I don't do that. That's all well and good but that's not enough. If I know that I don't, that I, there's things I should not do and I do not do em but spiritual excellence is that I also do the things that I know that I should do. Not only do I not do the things that I should not do but it's also spiritual excellence and that I do the things that I know I ought to do. And that needs to be laid down right beside faith. So, he said, faith add to your faith virtue.”
