“You may be a great surgeon. You may be a great orator. You may be able to write the most amazing essays better than your pastor. You may be able to perform great heart surgeries and be able to stitch up that chest without any scars, but if that heart's not beating, then you've done nothing at all. Amen? Amen. So here's what I'm trying to get across, is agape love is our vocation, that seeking and saving the lost is our vocation, and that the tools, the gifts of the Holy Spirit are the tools that we perform those with.”

“So now then, what happens if you walk up to the heart surgeon and you begin to talk to the heart surgeon? He says, well, I got real pretty tools. They're real shiny, and he puts all of his focus on the tools and takes his focus off the patient. Well, then he becomes egotistical and destructive in nature. See, the only evidence of a good heart surgeon is this, that when the surgery is complete, that heart is beating, and that person that was once dead is now alive. Now listen, each one of you are heart surgeons. The Bible says that god, that the holy spirit gives each one of us gifts so that we can work inside this ministry, so that he can empower us to be witness, so that he can empower us to be heart surgeons. So your job, our vocation is merely this, is that when we leave this world, every person we come into contact with, their heart is beating when we're gone. Amen. That they have an eternal salvation with their lord and savior.”

“I wanna give you this thought, and I want you to think about it. I think one of the biggest struggles for Christians, and myself included, isn't addictions, it's not pornography, it's not all the things of the world, but it's heating the spirit in this agape type of love. That we love those that do us right, and we struggle to love those that do us wrong. Now listen, your heart is like a vacuum. It's never empty. And what I have found in my own life is that whenever I remove hate from it, it fills with love. That simple. But listen, when I remove love from it, it fills with hate. And I've lived on both sides of the aisle. And let me tell you something, the most miserable I've ever been is when my heart was full of hate. The most peace I've ever been able to walk with is when my heart has been full of love even towards those that have done me wrong.”

“It says, each one of them heard this message of the gospel in their own language. So what happened that day? The Holy Spirit and filled them, baptized them with the power to be witnesses to all those nations. Now listen, they told me that the evidence of being baptized in in in the holy spirit was only speaking in tongues, and without that, you can't be used in ministry. I believe after reading scripture, that's absolutely not the truth. Now, I'm not here to take anything away from the spiritual gifts, but I wanna show you that the evidence of receiving the Holy Spirit is not speaking in tongues. It's not being it's not having the gifts of healing. It's not having the gift of prophecy, but it is this. It is the mere evidence of agape love in your life. Amen.”
