36s
“God's promises are greater than our problems. Second and final point of a two point sermon, faithfulness is not measured by outcomes. Do you hear that? Faithfulness is not measured by the outcomes. Or said another way, faithfulness is measured by faithfulness, not by the outcomes. In other words, we don't evaluate our obedience to Christ by whether things are going better for us because we're obeying his commands.”
34s
“Church, where is your focus in the midst of your really hard circumstance? Is it on your challenges or is it on the promises of God? And listen, we've all got problems. I've got them, you've got them. It's just a fact of life. Right? Every single one of us has got those problems. And when you're in the midst of them, where does your mind go? Don't let your problems overwhelm the promises of God, church.”
49s
“So, yes, church, we continue to pray for healing when you're right in the middle of that need in that situation. And we continue to lift up our prodigal son and our prodigal daughters or our grandson or granddaughters. We do not cease to continue to pray for them that God would save and rescue them. We continue to pray for our spouse who doesn't believe. We continue to pray for our friends that you desperately love, and they love you, and they do not know Christ. Yes, we continue to do that. Yes, we continue to show grace and mercy even when it seems like we don't get a lot of grace or mercy given back to us. We continue to love people as Christ loves us. We obey, and then we relieve the results up to who? God. You know that.”
