#PersecuteTheChurchPersecuteChrist
“Paul never went around and defamed the name of Jesus. He never went around and said, hey, your false god is not really god, or why are we worshiping this god? He the name of Jesus never came out of his mouth. What he did was he persecuted the church, he ridiculed the church, and he demeaned the church. And what Jesus was saying, hey, and this is this is not even Paul saying this, This is not me saying this. What Jesus was saying is when you persecute, ridicule, demean, and go after the church, big c, body of Christ, you are persecuting, ridiculing, and demeaning Jesus.”

#GodCanUseYou
“``The same passion that he had in persecuting people for being blasphemers. Blasphemy means that you're you're taking something that's holy and demeaning it and making it unholy. So he went after people he thought were blaspheming the name of God, and Jesus showed him that he was the one blaspheming the name of God. And according to God's word, blasphemy was something that you should have been put to death for, but instead, God said, I'm going to use you to go and tell other people about my goodness, my grace, and my mercy, and love. And believe me, if God can use him, God can use you.”

#LiveByGodsWord
“we have to stop treating the Bible like the commands of God are negotiable. Where God says, go. Alright, God, we need to go. Where God says, thou shalt not, alright, God, I can't do that anymore. There are things in the bible that are not commands. They're prescriptions where if you prescribe this to your life, it's going to make your life better. But there are things where God says beyond a shadow of a doubt from beginning to the end of the bible, thou shalt not, and we don't get to play with that. We just gotta accept. We're either gonna be Christians who believe the word of God and live it out, and if we don't want to, then just say, hey, I'm not because that's not for me.”

#FocusOnGodsKingdom
“And, obviously, local churches, they want to grow. But here's the problem. If we focus on growing the local church like Crossroads, then we make it about us, not about God. We make it about here's who we are, here's what we can do, we want you to come and experience us. But if we focus on growing God's church, his kingdom, then it's basically God saying, yeah, you're doing what I want, so I'm going to use you because you're not making it about you, you're making it about him.”
