#SpiritLedMission
“So so that's what's taking place here, but we understand, and there's a key thing that I want you to understand from the whole passage of Acts chapter eight, and that is the holy spirit who is moving the mission of God. He is the one who is directing this mission. How many of you understand what I'm saying here this morning? Somebody say amen to that. The Holy Spirit is directing the mission. The church is not growing on its own. The church is not growing as an entity, as a political enterprise. It's not moving as some sort of company. It's it's moving under the direction of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit directs the mission, God empowers and leads his church.”

#BeyondComfortZone
“Jerusalem is the church. Jerusalem are these four walls. We're comfortable here. You know, we we're not threatened here. We don't have strangers coming in. We don't have people questioning what we believe and the way we do things. When we do stuff out here, we do it according to the way we do it. Nobody tells us how to do certain things in in this place because this is our comfort zone. But the holy spirit wants us to go beyond our comfort zone. He wants you to go beyond your comfort zone, your home, in your house with your children. That's your comfort zone. The diner down the street, that's pushing it a little bit. The deli, the laundromat out there, that's kinda pushing it out. That's your Jerusalem. That's going out a little bit further. And that's what he wants. He wants us to move beyond these four walls, and he wants us to reach people with the gospel in a way that we're not accustomed to. Amen?”

#HolySpiritHelper
“If you take the holy spirit out of the book of acts, that's what you have. But I thank god that he is the central character of the book of acts. You see, the holy spirit is our enabler. He's our helper. He's our comforter. He's the one who guides us in all truth and all wisdom. A church without the holy spirit essentially is a dead church. A church that is not going anywhere. The holy spirit is not an optional addition to the Christian life. He is our helper. Somebody say he's our helper. You know, in the old testament, there's a verse that says, Ebenezer, hitherto had the Lord helped me. And we must know that the Holy Spirit is the one who is gonna help us. Amen. You see, that word Ebenezer”

#SpiritForever
“I want you to think about any organization or any entity or any movement that started in the world today that has lasted for two thousand years. I don't think there's anything. I I I can't think of anything that has lasted the way the gospel has lasted for two thousand years, especially considering the manner in which it started and what it is today. Why? Because when the holy spirit came upon the church, he wasn't coming upon the church for a day. He's coming to church for an eternity all the way down until the time Jesus comes again.”

#BaptismNextStep
“Baptism is not a mean for earning salvation. You don't get saved through baptism. You get saved through belief in Jesus. That's where salvation is. And baptism is the automatic next step. In other words, if you, give your heart to Jesus, the next step is to get baptized. So if you know people who have come to know Jesus and they believe, encourage them to get baptized. Encourage them to get baptized. I shared a little testimony yesterday. We had a,”

#BaptizeAsYouAre
“But you see, the thing about it is that's what grace is, and that's what baptism is all about. We don't expect people to be perfect when they go down the water. How many of you understand that? You know, we want them to be a certain way. We want them to be lily white. We give them a white clothes so they can go into the water. We want them to be perfect before they get on the water. No. Jesus said, however you are, come. All you have to do is believe. He said, if you believe in Jesus, you may. And he said, yes. I believe. And immediately, they'll go down the water, and he gets baptized. Amen.”

#GodShapesThroughTrials
“You see, that's how God works. How many of you understand that? Sometimes we think that God will work in our times of convenience, ease, but sometimes God works in the time when we're going through a difficulty or when we're going through a difficult time. And as I speak this morning, I want you to think about what you might be going through in your life. You might be going through something in your life as well. You might be going through a situation. You might be facing something in your life as well. And the question is, what is God teaching me in that? What is God teaching me in my present situation that is gonna strengthen me, that is gonna help me to be a better person, that is gonna help me be to be a a better believer in the long run? You see, because that's what God wants to do. He wants to shape you, and he wants to mold you into the image of Christ. Ultimately, that's the goal of every Christian believer to become more Christ like. So we have to look at the things that we go through in our lives and say, what is God how is God using this to make me into the image of what he sees I should be?”

#ChooseToBeVictor
“But the thing is, when it comes, how do we see it? You see, that's a difference. How do we perceive those things? When when somebody comes against you, when your neighbor starts a custodian for no reason or a guy is driving down the street, when when these things happen that you consider someone, the enemy, giving you a hard time, how do you perceive it? Now you could either perceive it in two ways, one of the two ways. You can either perceive it from the place of victimhood where everybody's against me. That the church is the most persecuted thing in the world. Everybody's against it. The Muslim wants to kill us. This one wants to kill us. Everything else, the gays don't like us. You can see yourself as a victim or you could see yourself as a victor. Right? And if you see yourself as a victor, when the persecution comes, you're gonna use that as a launch pad to do what God has called you to do. You”
