“``The bread and the juice, they remind us that they remind us that the suffering servant is with us. The one that sacrificed himself ultimately and laid down his life. He's with us in our life. He's with us in our death. He's with us in joys. He's with us in sorrow. He's with us in celebration. He's with us in mourning and pain. When he calls you to do something hard, when he calls you to do something difficult, when he calls you into a place that needs courage, he is there with you to give you courage and to let you know no matter what happens, I am with you. I have made promises to you that cannot be broken, and nothing, not even not in life and not in death can separate us from the love of our heavenly father.”

“That's not what shooting your shot's about. We don't have those types of promises. And y'all, this is a misconception even in churches like ours that that I think do have some biblical depth. I've seen this in my life before. I have seen where I was able to communicate what I felt like was a very clear calling from God that he had given me in my life, and I would communicate it to people. And the assumption was as, oh, you're just gonna go kill it. It's gonna be awesome. It's gonna be smooth sailing. Like, awesome stuff is gonna happen. It's gonna be great. You're gonna be completely provided for. You're gonna be healthy, wealthy, and wise. There's gonna be fruit everywhere. It's gonna be amazing. Where'd you get that from? Have you actually read the Bible? That is not a promise. You see, our responsibility is obedience. The results are in God's hands.”

“See, when you shoot your shot, there's a risk involved. We can't take that out of the equation. Okay? That doesn't mean we're not called to be strong and brave and courageous. And we need people in the church today that are willing to stand upon truth in love, stand upon truth in a spirit of love in a culture that will try to condemn you and call you every name in the book to intimidate you to believe something different from what the word of God says or to, at the least, keep your mouth shut. Keep your mouth shut. There's no guarantee if we shoot our shot.”
42s
“I'm saying we need to grow up, man. Amen. And I'm saying we've been warned very clearly. We saw it in acts 20. False teachers are coming. They're coming from outside the church, and they're gonna grow up from inside the church. They are coming. They are not coming. They are here. And whatever stream you follow, whatever personalities you follow, whatever preaching you hear, including mine, It is your responsibility to take those things back to the word of God to see if they are true by his standards and not by the standard of any man.”
