#PrioritizeGod
“The greatest damage you can do as a pastor or being in leadership, the worst thing you can do, and and Damian Kyle said it to us repeatedly and even to this day, The number one thing you have to do if you're called in ministry is be current with God. If you're not current with God, you're done. Your personal relationship becomes before ministry. He does not need you to serve in any ministry. He wants you first. He needs to be your master first. Same thing as anybody in the church.”

#LeadersWithFruit
“Paul didn't live a perfect life, but he was growing in god's grace and continuing in it. It wasn't that he was sinless, but he sinned less and less as he walked. And in leaders, same thing in the church. You look at men and go, okay. Not that they're perfect, but is God working in our life? Is what the pastor teaches on Sunday, is it a show up in his life? You know, is is the pastor on Sunday morning the same as what you run into at Costco or in traffic? You know, what fruit are in is in that life?”

#TurnToChrist
“Jesus started with repentance. You know, in the word repentance, go, okay. What is repentance? It literally means to turn direction. You're headed in one way in your life, and God says, hey, you need to turn around and go a different way. The direction you're traveling, the way you think is right, we need to repent and turn around from it. Most of us, that's I'm God. I'm living. I believe I'm God. I'm gonna do it my own way. And God says, nope. You need to stop. Need to repent. I am God, and I have a plan, and I have a purpose for your life. And you need to change around from what your will is and me be lord of your life and direct that. And faith towards our lord Jesus Christ. Again, the word lord is a position. Our lord and our savior, Jesus Christ, that we need to be saved from. Our sin and destruction.”
