“And so the first way to get into the will of God is to trust Christ, obviously. In our day, there's there's a way to start the process, and that is to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and what he has done. And if God is pricking your heart to do that, you need to do that. And you need to submit to the will of God because step number one is to believe in the Son of God that has come to save. Now secondly, you would pick up his word and you would start to read and you would start to understand, and you would get the commands, the do's and the don'ts. You would get the general sense of what God is trying to compel you to do to be a righteous person. Not because you're righteous, but because Christ is, and he saved you, and he's changed you, and his Holy Spirit now resides in you.”

“God isn't trying to hide his will from you. Your sin has blinded your eyes. My sin has blinded my eyes and made whatever separation does exist. But if I'm willing to purge that sin and repent of that sin and now follow the righteousness of God and walk in the spirit so I won't fulfill the lust of the flesh according to the word of God. Is God gonna hide from me? Not according to his word. Why would he hide from his people that he that he wants and longs for, that relationship, that closeness? He's done everything in here to tell us how to to make not that we can make it right. We need Christ to make it right. But once he's made it right, we need to be willing to walk in the holiness of God, the righteousness that comes from his word.”

“That’s a fundamental question you ought to ask yourself. Because I know we like to put it in the context of, God has me doing ministry here, and this is my ministry, and this is your ministry. In order to make it easy to talk to one another, we put things in those buckets and those categories. But whose ministry is it? Is it yours or is it God’s? read the Bible very closely and very carefully. Looking at the detail of what it says, it says that God is the one that is working, and it is us who are fellow laborers alongside He recruits us to work with him, not for him in the sense that we go out and do whatever we want.
