#TellItHowItIs
“He didn't say when you feel like it, maybe if you're up to it, you maybe want to. It would be a good idea. He just says go. So we know we're commanded to go, and we're called witness. And I wanna encourage you by saying that a witness has one job. Can you all say one job? One job. One job. A witness's job is not to convince somebody. It's not to manipulate somebody. It's not to have every answer. All a witness does is tell what they've seen. They tell what they've experienced. They tell what happened. Nothing more, nothing less. So today, as we're talking about evangelism, I wanna share with you guys on this one thought, and that is tell it how it is. When it comes to sharing our faith, we have to do no more than tell it how it is. Because sharing your faith isn't about having all the answers. It's just about sharing what Jesus has done.”

#PowerInTheSavior
“Now too often, we compare our testimony to someone else's. We hear someone say, I was addicted to drugs. We hear someone say, I spent years in prison, or I lived this crazy life. And for those of you who grew up in church, you might sit there and be like, well, I don't have a story like that. As if somehow our testimony is less valuable because we didn't go through the ringer first. But can I tell you that the power of your testimony isn't found in how bad your past was? The power of your testimony is found in how good your savior is.”

#JesusIsTheHero
“Not just the pastors, not just the former drug dealers, the redeemed. If you've been redeemed, you have a story to tell. Now some testimonies are dramatic. They tell a a story of a a long journey that was arduous and challenging, and, out of nowhere, my whole life was completely transformed, but some testimonies are quiet. Some testimonies involve addiction. Some involve anxiety. Some broken families. Some of them involve growing up in church. But no matter what your story is, every single testimony has the same hero, and that's Jesus. Our testimonies aren't about us. Our testimony is about what Jesus has done in us.”

#ShareWhatChangedMe
“``People naturally talk about what has changed them. I mean, we all talk about what's changed us. Right? We don't have to remind new grandparents to show us pictures. We don't have to convince someone who just got engaged to tell people. Right, Tomo? We don't have to beg someone who discovered an amazing restaurant to go and recommend it. When something's changed us, it naturally comes out in conversation. So here's the question that I couldn't get away from this week while I was preparing this message, and it's that if Jesus has changed my life more than anything else ever has, why is he sometimes the hardest thing for me to talk about? And maybe you felt that too.”
