#AccountableFriendshipCentral
“And I wanna tell you something. What we're talking about today is not just a nice way to have two sermons on two Sundays. The concept of accountable friendship is actually central to who we are and have been as believers in Christ and First Methodist Christians. It is central to our mission, the way that we believe that we can cultivate and equip disciples of Jesus Christ so that we can offer Christ from the heart of downtown for an awakening in Southwest Georgia.”

#GrowthHappensInRelationships
“One of the things that I I wanna keep in mind is that a lot of the tools that we use to grow are based on individual effort. You set the plan, you track the progress, you improve the outcome, and that's awesome. Because we really should take agency in our life. We should be responsible for our life. But there's just a little subtle thing I want us to pay attention to. Sometimes life is in the subtleties and specifics. Have you noticed that? It's that as much as we have agency and we can work towards improving ourselves, we can forget that most of our growth happens in relationships.”
