“Well, about a year or so ago, I read an essay by a newspaper journalist and she talked about that what if question. And she suggested maybe a kind of a reframe of the question because when we ask what if, that's usually a negative kind of question that we're asking. What if something terrible happens? What if the worst case scenario comes? But she suggested that that as a way to counter that sort of mindset, that the question could be shifted.
