#YesToGodsWill
“Our sins have been forgiven. Our eternity is secure. We have hope ahead of us because Christ Jesus said not my will but God's be done. And I hope that that will inspire you to say yes to the will of God for you, whatever the cost that you would pray, Father, not my will but yours be done. So in conclusion, the story of Abraham confronts every believer with a question, will you do the will of God? Not will you know the will of God or will you discuss the will of God or negotiate the will God or admire the will of God but will you do the will of God?”

“So hopefully you'd be willing to say to the Lord, yes Lord, I I I'm ready to do that. Maybe God's will is for you to serve the Lord through the church in some way and maybe you know that but you've been resisting it, neglecting it, but today God is saying, I want you to do that for me. God has a will for everybody and and usually it comes to us several times in our lives and it's important for us to understand that his will begins where our comfort zone ends.”

#KnowVsDoGodsWill
“Abraham left his homeland. Jesus left the glory of heaven. Abraham journeyed into an unknown land. Jesus entered a fallen world. Abraham obeyed God's call. Jesus obeyed his father's will perfectly. In the Garden Of Gethsemane, remember Jesus' prayer about God's will. Father, not my will but thine be what? Done. Jesus knew it's one thing to know God's will, it's another thing to do God's will.”

“And he went to the cross for you and me. He suffered and died. His shed blood, his broken body, the mocking, the pain, it was all for you and me, for a world lost in sin. Jesus knew that doing God's will can sometimes be very costly, but it brings great blessing. And haven't we been blessed because he died for us? Our sins have been forgiven. Our eternity is secure.”
