“Does believing in God equal righteousness? No. It's not to simply say he believed in God. Like you say, I believe in gravity or I believe in myself. It it was deeper than that. In fact, it it goes to the idea of faith. It it is really in the simplest way of understanding, it is an active, demonstrated trust or reliance upon God. You see, it's more than just saying, yeah. Yeah. I believe in God. Yeah, I believe he's there. I believe he exists.”

“The only way that scale is tipping back to a place of favor is by the grace of God. And the only way that grace of God would come, we find the answer in verse 16 of Romans four as we pick up a little bit further down the chapter, but look with me at verse 16. For this reason, it is by faith. What is? That a man's sins are forgiven, that a man's lawless deeds are covered, that a man's sins will not be counted against him. It is by faith in order that it may be in accordance with grace so that the promise will be guaranteed to all the descendants, not only those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham. Circle that phrase there if you would with me. The faith of Abraham who is the father of us all.”
