#GodsLoveForYouUnexpected
“God's love is for you. And he shows you his love in unexpected ways. If washing in a river seven times was baffling and if touching someone to make them clean is confusing, how much more unexpected is it that God would choose the cross, that God would choose to become human, to take on human flesh like yours and mine, and then choose to take that body to the cross to suffer and die for us. This does not make sense. It makes as little sense as choosing Naaman of all the lepers during the time of Elisha to be the one who is healed. It is as confusing as Jesus reaching out and touching the unclean to make them clean. This is foolishness.”

#CrossIsUnexpectedLove
“That it does not and cannot make sense to us. But it is what God has chosen, That the cross is God's unexpected love for us undeserving people. That against anything that would make sense, God has chosen you. God has shown you his love, his mercy, and his grace. And again, against anything that makes sense, he did it by the cross to take your sin, to take your place so that in Christ you might have freedom, healing, and life.”

#FoolishnessOfGodWiser
“``But what Paul tells us in first Corinthians is that this is the foolishness of God, and the foolishness of God is wiser than the wisdom of men. That it does not and cannot make sense to us.
