#GraceEmpowersLove
“``It is impossible to love your enemy unless you yourself have experienced that same love and that same forgiveness, that same generosity that God has has lavished upon you, unless you've experienced it and you allow the Holy Spirit to work in and through you, yes, those same things that God asks of us are impossible. And yet he does so because of the Holy Spirit. And so that that's my second takeaway from this text is that the Lord often asked us to do the impossible, and the only way we can do it is in and through the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit. Through the love of God, when we've experienced the love and the transformation that comes with that, then we are able in the power of the spirit to do the impossible.”

#LetGodUseYou
“And there are moments I I would suspect for each of you and for myself. There are moments when the Lord speaks something so clearly, you never forget it. And this is and the the Lord in that moment spoke something to me. He said, Dan, you're right. He said, lord, could you say that again? I I think I didn't I misheard you. I said, you're right. You can't do this, but I can. And I'll use you if you let me. And I said, okay, Lord. I'm I'm here. I've already moved down here. So, Lord, I'm gonna I'm gonna give you what I have, and I'll allow you to use me.”

#ServeThroughPain
“Now what I'm not saying is I'm not saying there aren't moments, there aren't seasons where that when we experience pain that we don't take time to heal, and we don't take time for the Lord to minister to us. I'm not saying that. But what we often do, I believe, is that when we experience hardship or pain, we disqualify ourselves from ministering to others. That we decide, oh, I'm I'm just not ready. I can't do it yet. As opposed to saying, Lord, would you come and heal me, and would you minister through me in these moments? And when they present themselves, God, that I wouldn't disqualify myself, but rather would you empower me in that moment to minister.”

#AskWhatGodIsDoing
“And so I think what what we can do, and I and I believe what God would ask of us is is to say to ourselves, instead of asking, what am I doing here? Instead, ask, Lord, what are you doing here? Because God has been at work in and through that space long before we ever arrive. And so instead, we say, God, what are you doing here, and what purpose do I have to play? What part do I have to play in what you're already doing?”

#SpiritEquipsUs
“And I believe Jesus in this moment is able to minister because he had spent time with the father, because the Holy Spirit had filled him. And it's in that moment he's able to minister in the power of the Holy Spirit and through the power that the father has given him. And the same is true for us. In those moments, we're only going to be able to minister in our pain if we've allowed the Holy Spirit to come and first minister to us. And then what God has done in us, he can now do through us.”

#RightPlaceRightTime
“And, see, this kid jumping back to the story. This kid most likely don't understand why he was out in the middle of the wilderness with his family But God had a purpose for him. God had a reason for why he was there. And he may not have wanted to be there. He may have been resistant to give up his lunch. But because he was there and because he had what he had and he gave Jesus what he had, Jesus performed an incredible miracle, and this boy got to see something that most, if not all other children in the history of the world, have never got to experience. And he got to see it firsthand all because Jesus had him in the right place at the right time.”

#DoTheImpossible
“How many of you have felt like God has asked you to do something, and you've responded with Philip? Like Philip. Yeah. God, what you're asking me to do, it can't be done. God, you're asking me to forgive my parents. You don't understand how much they've hurt me. God, you're asking me to love and serve my neighbor who's so self centered and so selfish and so obnoxious. God, it's impossible. God, you're asking me to love and serve my boss, but, Lord, you don't understand how poorly she treats me. Lord, you're asking me to to forgive and love and be kind and generous to to people who are rude and and don't care about me. And, yes, the lord every day is asking each and every one of us to do things that out of our own natural ability is impossible.”

#DivinePurposeHere
“In our lives, when we when we wonder and we and we we ask ourselves, why am I here? God, what am I doing here? It could be perhaps because God has us in that moment, in that season, in that place for a purpose, a specific perfect purpose that he has aligned. It could be that God has you in the right place at the right time just like this boy.”
