62s
“And Lord, we thank you for the family members that we have, and we'll honor them. But I'm speaking specifically today about that issue about trusting God in your finances. And you'd say, you know, I'm I have some financial tightness right now in my life, and I kinda have some fear about my finances. And the Lord's saying, will you will you put your faith in me keeping my word above even a human being keeping their word? The Lord's saying to you, if I'm asking you to be faithful to your household, How much more am I gonna be faithful to you and my household? And I'm asking you to trust me. Trust me. Don't be a silly dove. Don't go flying here or there You try to take care of yourself. Either you trust me or you don't.”

“Sarah, it says about Sarah in Hebrews 11 that she had a supernatural child because she counted him faithful. You need to answer the question, is God faithful? I would think you think that way because you're putting your own eternal destiny in his hands. Well, if you count him faithful, then it comes down to a decision that you need to make right now to trust him. I'm gonna trust you. if that's you, and you're like, today, I saw I'm convinced God's faithful. I'm gonna trust him. I'm not gonna try to make things happen for myself. I'm not gonna run to the world. I'm not gonna get into fear. I'm in faith that God's faithful to me, and I'm choosing to trust him right now.”

“Then you can trust him. Yes. Amen. Why should I say that? Because fear will make you do stupid stuff. You ever done a piece of stupid when you're afraid? Got into fear, trying to take care of yourself, and you mess up, muddy the water, and and you get it messed up. And and so that's just the tendency to do, especially in your financial fear, then you you go do stupid stuff. Like, what would be some stupid stuff? Go out and take a loan, high interest loan to try to take care of yourself, and you think, oh, well, got it now. But you don't realize that's gonna be due, and you just dug yourself a deeper hole. Well, how about this? You know what? That credit card offer came in the mail from God. Look at that. I'm gonna get another one. That's my tenth one. Praise the Lord. No. Let me tell you what you need. You need plastic surgery.”

“And so we need to think down the road and make provision for our family, not just our children, but also our aging parents, that we need to consider that it's not just setting life for ourselves for retirement, but we're laying it up for other people. And so I've seen men die and wives not have enough money to even afford a burial, and so this shouldn't be. And so, again, we should be taking care of our family. And so I think it's important. I'm just gonna get practical. Put the cookies on the bottom shelf. I think it's important to have life insurance. wouldn't you have life insurance? Because guess what? There's 100% chance you're gonna die. Unless we get raptured and went on, so it doesn't matter then, but but, you know, every one of us, and so there's no reason why you shouldn't have life insurance, and I think it's good to have a savings account. What's that? That's where you have money left over you haven't spent, and you actually put it over to an account, and it has a few a future assignment to take care of others. And so here it says, if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for his own household, he's denied the faith.”
