#FaithByWord
“Believe the word, Trust the word. And above all, trust Jesus who is revealed in the word. Okay. That's how we do things. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. You can't have faith unless you know the source of that faith. All you have is a hope, a a dubious hope. Right? But when we have the word of God, we have absolute assurance that what it is telling us can be possible, and that's when we then exercise faith in what it says.”

#TrustInTranscendentGod
“David sets an absolute contrast between himself and Goliath. Goliath is using what is created but then manipulated within the creation, meaning fashioning implements for battle out of elements to conduct his warfare. However, David comes forward in the name of Yehovah, the self existent God. As he is self existent, he is separate from the creation, meaning he is transcendent over it. As this is so, trusting in his name means trusting in the sum of who he is. He has presented himself already to Israel in numerous ways.”
