#CertaintyInChrist
“``Now I'm a realist. I know that uncertainty is all around us, I'm also a rejoicer in a world of uncertainty. I do not know what tomorrow holds. I do not know if I'll make it out of this day alive. I don't know the next temptation that's coming around the corner. I don't know how every situation is gonna turn out. But greater than my uncertainty, I have this certainty. A certainty that is grounded in the promises of God. A certainty that fills my joy. It it completes my joy. And that certainty is this. We are believing in the name of the son of God, we have eternal life. We have answered prayers, and we have victory over sin all through the true God and eternal life, Jesus Christ. If you're believing in him, all these certainties belong to you.”

#TestedAndAssured
“Over the past six months, we've been listening to the truth of God's word from first John with the purpose of closing the door on doubt, opening the door to assurance and joy in a Christian's life. This entire letter has been a series of tests to help you know you're saved. Here at the end, John's like, man, if you got to the end of this letter, you're like, man, I I've been passing the test. This is great. He's like, I want you to know these certainties belong to you. You have eternal life. God hears and answers your prayers. You have victory over sin. All through the one true God in eternal life, Jesus Christ. This certainty is yours.”

#NoDoubtAboutSalvation
“I'm here to tell you, while there is uncertainty about many things in this life, God does not want his children to be uncertain about eternal life. He does not want uncertainty surrounding your spiritual health, which is one of the reasons he had his apostle named John write the letter first John. He wrote this letter for the sole purpose of helping the saved know with certainty that they are.”

#BreakSinPatterns
“Are you walking in a pattern of sin over and over again? Remember the seriousness of sin leads to death. For those who don't believe in Jesus, it can lead to death, physical death of a believer in Jesus. Remember that you have victory over sin. And if you're presently walking in one, continuing in the same pattern over and over again, turn from it. You can, without a doubt. Because you have victory over it.”

#HeavenIsTrueHealing
“You know you're like, well, God may choose because I'm uncertain. He may choose to do it this way. So he's blessed us with some modern medicine. I'm gonna do this. So sometimes he heals immediately through a miracle. Sometimes he heals gradually through medicine. And I have learned this, and it's a hard lesson to learn, but it's a beautiful lesson to learn. Sometimes God heals in glory. The best healing and the promised healing for all who believe in the name of the son of God is to be with the son of God. So sometimes he takes us home. That's the greatest healing ever.”

#NoUncertaintyInEternalLife
“All these years later, this letter still accomplishes the same purpose. Yes, false teachers and teachings are still a problem in our time. There are those who are teaching Christians that unrighteous living is okay for us. There are those who are teaching incorrect beliefs and teachings about salvation. There are those who are teaching incorrect doctrines about Jesus, and this leads to confusion. It's led to compromise and even to a counterfeit Christianity. And unfortunately, all along the way, it's created some uncertainty amongst those who are truly Christians. Many struggle with whether or not they're truly saved. As I said a moment ago, brothers and sisters, uncertainty surrounds many things in life, but God does not want his people uncertain about eternal life. He wants you to know.”

#EternalLifeAssurance
“You and I are surrounded by uncertainties, economic uncertainties, environmental uncertainties, health uncertainties. We don't know what tomorrow holds. I don't know whether I'm gonna make it through today. Lots of uncertainties in life but the good news is we can be certain that we have eternal life. And John says you wanna know how? Are you believing in the name of the son of God? If you are, know this. You have eternal life. Know this, it is well with your soul.”

#ShutDoorOnDoubt
“see how a false teaching can just grab a hold of somebody and rip certainty away from them, and that's what it had done in her whole life. John's battling that, exposing false teachings and wants us to know that even in an era where false teaching is infiltrating the church, you can know with certainty that you have eternal life. There are actually Christians who teach that you can't know. Well, they've never read first John. They don't know their Bible, because you can know with certainty. If you are believing in the name of the son of God, you have eternal life. It is well with your soul. So shut the door on doubt. Open it to the assurance and joy that comes through Jesus Christ. You have eternal life through him.”
