#SavedByGrace
“```Nothing that I can do or have done that allows me to say, hey. Look at how awesome I am. This is what I've done for god, and now he has saved me. Right? Not at all. It's quite the opposite that in spite of the things I've done, god has saved me. By his free gift of grace, through the sacrifice of his son, I'm forgiven. And by his resurrection, death has been defeated, and I have the opportunity to spend eternity with him in heaven.”

#FaithOverKnowledge
“Placing our faith and trust in human understanding is the problem. Learning and researching and digging in isn't the problem. Similar to the way we talk sometimes about money, right, the love of money is the root of evil. Money itself is an amazing tool, but if you begin to love that money, your priorities can shift and you start to have a problem. Similar with with knowledge and study and learning. Right? You can use it as an amazing tool to study scripture, to understand the world around us that god has designed in amazing and detailed ways, but you can also allow it to begin taking over your way of thinking and and and pushing you away from faith in Christ.”

#UnityInChrist
“This is one of the things the early church was doing where when they came together to worship, everyone was on equal ground, right? Just as Paul said in other places, there were no Jews, there were no Greeks, there were no slaves, there were no free, we were all children of god coming together to worship. Right? This is an amazing situation again which began to turn the world upside down because of this amazing message that by human standard and human wisdom did not make a whole lot of sense but in reality, as we see it unfolding, showed itself to be true, right?”

#ChristAloneSaves
“Our human knowledge, human wisdom, and human understanding is not going to carry us into eternity. Alright? It is only by faith in Jesus, who is the son of God, by grace, through faith, that we are saved and have the opportunity to spend eternity with a holy and awesome god forever. This stuff, everything in this building, everything on this planet, one day is going to go away. All of that wisdom, all of that knowledge will stop. Right? Only the love of Christ will carry us through. And believing that he really did all that he said he did, that god really did raise him from the dead, and that through faith in him, we receive forgiveness of our sins. Right?”
