In other words, into a tough season, into a big giant divine task where he was tempted by Satan for forty days. The reason why he did this is because remember the Israelites disobeyed and died in the wilderness after forty years. He was basically recreating the Israelite journey in this, and then going back into the promised land. Okay? So I I don't get lost in the details. It's really profound though how Jesus, he he he went right into difficulty, not out of guilt, shame, obligation, not out of pressure, but fueled by the father's pleasure. And I believe that's how God designed us to live out. We're we're fueled by the pleasure of God. We don't work for a place of favor, we work from a place of favor. We don't strive to earn God's love. We strive to reflect God's love. It's not an action. It is a reaction, and it's way more fun when you understand how the father feels about you on any given day.”
