#TrustGod
“And so you love me, I know you do, because a cross is standing in my story that proves that. Your love is not based on my performance. It's perfect love. And the scripture says perfect love casts out fear. So I'm gonna trust in the fact that you you were sold on me before I even knew who you were. And you gave everything you had to be in this relationship with me. So I'm gonna trust in that kind of love, and I'm gonna take this thing that I can't solve and put it in your hands, and I'm gonna go to sleep. Knowing that while I'm sleeping, you are solving. While I'm sleeping, you are working. While I'm sleeping, you are doing what you've done before time, managing the affairs of the world.”

“"Maybe Sabbath is not just about a day of the week. It's not just about things that we do on that day or don't do on that day. It's pointing us towards, I don't know, maybe a person. Maybe a person who doesn't require work from us at all. Maybe a person who just simply wants to give into our life and to give grace to us. And yet when we fill our life with ever more productivity and only measure ourselves by this and never have time to stop, we don't have room in our hearts, in our lives, in our minds to receive what he has for us.”

“Right? It's you don't have enough faith. You have too much doubt. You lost your healing because you went to the doctor too soon, and you have a generational curse. You need to go repent for sins that you didn't even know about and on and on. And what we end up with is a works based gospel that, listen to me, insults what Jesus did on the cross. It does not help it. And what we're forced to do is we're forced to wonder, man, if I cannot correctly apply this healing that is owed to me, to my body, then maybe I've also failed to apply this forgiveness that's owed to my soul and to my spirit. And hear me, that is not faith. is bondage. That is slavery.”

“The master shows up and the servants are doing their job and he's so over overjoyed, he's so happy, he comes in and says to the servants, now you sit down here at the table. Let me gird my waist. Let me serve you. Here, let me give you something to drink. And they're laughing and they're celebrating. He's so overjoyed because he found his servant serving when he returned. Now to us it's a beautiful picture. But in Bible days it was unthinkable for a master to become the servant and serve the other servants.”

“Do you feel that way? When you see someone around you, a fellow believer, someone else suffering, do you suffer alongside of them? Do you help share their burden and their pain? When someone is being honored and it's not even you, are you willing to clap for them and celebrate for them and enjoy them in the the season that God has them in? Because that is what creates harmony in the body of Christ. You know, Romans twelve fifteen talks about how we should rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep. We need to do life alongside each other.”

“There is a blessing in what you've gone through. God is not absent from your difficult seasons, and you have a choice to make. What will you do? Will you have a heart that honors God and says, I trust God to take care of me? Or will you pick up the spear and say, I'm gonna get personal vengeance. I'm gonna prove that I was right after all. Let everybody know. We all have some repenting to do. We all have some questions to ask ourselves. We all have some tensions in our life that have tempted us to punish those that have done wrong. But the essence of Christianity is love your enemies.”

“You're probably going through something right now and you say, God, I couldn't have heard your voice. This must not have been you. And I want you to know that your circumstances do not dictate the will of god. His will for you is good, and he will change circumstances wherever they be. He will change the circumstances to open the door he's called you to walk through when you, not if you, When you pray, when you fast, when you give, when you show hospitality, these are the places where God gets a hold of your life in a way that he will not otherwise get a hold of you.”

#SurrenderAnxiety
“And so when you're there and you feel the pressure and you're staring at the ceiling and you're trying to solve the affairs of your family or the affairs of your kids or the affairs of your, former spouse who's now in a relationship with somebody else or you're trying to replay the story again. Why did she leave? Why did he leave? Why why did it all fall apart? Why did it have to happen this way? And you're replaying the story again and again. At some point, you just have to say, god, I am anxious right now, and I'm anxious because of what my mom said. And I'm replaying it in my mind, and the result is dismay and fear in my heart. Or I'm replaying what my coworker said or didn't say. Or I'm thinking about that circumstance and the outcome of that situation and how that's made me feel uneasy about life. And so, god, this specifically is what I'm afraid of.”

#ValleyOfLife
“And this is often what our giants do to us. They put a mask of death over the land of life. They trick us into staying on our hills, staying in the past, always afraid of confronting the future. Today we're going to explore what gave David the eyes to see and the to believe that when he stepped into that valley, he was not going to step into a valley of death, but instead into a land of life.”

#JesusHeals
“But here's what the medicine can't do. The medicine can't deal with the thing that was making you feel anxious in the first place. Only Jesus can help you do that. And we have a champion fighter named Jesus Christ who steps into the valley of our anxiety, of our conditioning, of our concealing, of our controlling, and says, let me be in charge of your life.”
