You just didn't get saved and save us just to go back the same way of living. He saved us so that we'll start living like him and for him.”

See, the devil knew that Jesus was the son of God, and he knew the destination by which Jesus was going to. It was the cross. But he also knew that Jesus one one day would be king and wear a crown. And so these temptations for the devil to Jesus was to bypass the cross so he can get to the crown quicker. You realize that our temptations is nothing but a big shortcut, it is no different. For us, it's to bypass the cross and go to the crown. That's the shortcut.”
