“Say thank you more. Telling you, it'll change things. You gotta stop comparing. God has given you a unique race, and it's at a unique pace. And don't be trying to catch up with everybody else. This isn't a race where you've gotta watch what everybody else is doing. This is a race that you you introspectively your eye is on the prize. You're seeing what you need to do. You're seeing how you need to grow. And let me just tell somebody needs to hear this today. You are not behind. You are not running someone else's race. God's timing is different from yours. So stop comparing the highlight reel and the life that you wish you had and start thanking God for the blessings that are abundant in your life right now.”

#ServantHealer
“The servant will be a gentle healer. If any man hear my words and believe not, I judge him not. I want you to grab a hold of this. Show me one person that Jesus killed. How many hated him? They hated him. Herod would have killed him in a minute as an infant without even knowing who he was and it never stopped.”

#BadNotTheFinalWord
“But the resurrection did not mean that the world was instantly fixed. The resurrection meant that death and evil and and violence no longer got the final word. Resurrection does not mean that bad things never happen. Resurrection means that bad things are never the end of the story. The cross happened but it was not the end of the story. Death happened but it was not the end of the story.”

#MissionAccomplished
“there'd be one thing that I would want you to know as you walk out of here today and here's what it is. Mission accomplished. God did everything that needed to be done. There is nothing that can or should be or needs to be added to the invitation. Save Christ accomplished vanquishing the two greatest enemies, sin and death. And by placing your faith in him, you appropriate that victory as well. You receive the very thing that he accomplished on your behalf as a gift for by grace you've been saved through faith, not of yourselves. It's a gift of God, not as a result of works that no man should boast. God offers us that today and in stamps mission accomplished over all of human history and we get to be recipients of that victory.”

#PeaceIsLife
“Because it's not just this idea of absence of conflict, it's it's a presence of life, joy, goodness, beauty flowing inside of us and in the world. It's actually the reason why God created everything. That we would know and experience and encounter encounter God's creativity, his beauty, his goodness flowing and filling us up as his creatures. And then he empowers us. He he calls us to be a part of his good, creative, gracious work in the world. It's an idea peace is an idea of rightness, wholeness, rich life.”

#SowTodayReapTomorrow
“The work you do today determines the life you live tomorrow. And that's true in every area of life. We need to be deliberate to it in what we read and what we listen to and what we say and what we do. And we need to come to this understanding that every word spoken and every action taken is a seed sown. And we need to ask ourselves, do we wanna harvest off this? And so we need to be mindful of what we hear and what we read and what we listen to and what we feed on both in the natural realm, but also in the spiritual realm because what we say and how we treat other people, every word spoken, every action taken is a seed sown.”

#EasterPeople
“Where there is exclusion, there will be inclusion, where others make an other of your neighbor, you are to call them neighbor, and where there is death, there will be resurrection. Where there is death, there will be resurrection. Jesus, through the power of God has turned the world around, right side up. Our work as the church is to be world turners when you leave this service, to remember that light conquers darkness, that hope prevails over despair, that righteousness wins over sin, to see everyone you encounter as a neighbor rather than an other, to believe in the resurrection that conquers death. Our job is to go and be Easter people. World turners continue to try to turn the world right side up.”

“You even see this in the very beginning with Cain and Abel. The the one of the first stories you read as you crack your bible open, Adam and Eve have Cain and Abel, and what happens? Cain kills Abel. And it wasn't because he stole something from him. It wasn't because he punched him in the face. He killed him because God liked his blessing and God didn't like. God liked Abel's blessing didn't like Cain's blessing. Right? So we see this story unfold and it's the first murder in all of scripture that we read about and it's rooted in envy because he wanted what his brother had. That's it. Unchecked envy opens the door to greater sin.”

“``Envy makes you want someone else's life. makes you want someone else's story, and it even leads you to want someone else's calling. And last time I checked, God is uniquely called and created us. He he knit us together in our mother's womb, and I love that God didn't just copy and paste. And I think we we live in a world where we feel disconnected from God, but it's really the other way around. God is so into the details of you. And I I love that scripture calls us a masterpiece because a masterpiece, it's one of a kind. You know, if you can just go buy another one, it's it's not a masterpiece.”

“We've gotta redirect the narrative because joy will get ripped out really fast. Envy remove your peace. Proverbs fourteen thirty says, a heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy check this out. It says, but envy rots the bones. You're being decayed right now because you want what other people have, because you're not operating in some gratitude for the things that you once prayed for. Stepping on those spiritual toes today, peace and envy cannot coexist. And you wonder why you're so stressed out. It's probably because you're running a race at a pace that you weren't meant to run.”
