“How about the follow your heart creed? Do what makes you happy. Follow your heart. Do what you want to do. All of Psalms and Proverbs basically sums up that your heart's gonna lie to you. Following your heart is not the way to live our life. You know, the Bible says that sin is fun for a season. Come on, can all my heathens say amen to that? Y'all, sin is fun. If you don't wanna admit it in church, I will. It is fun for a season. We think we're getting away with it, you know, following our heart. Don't follow your heart. It's gonna lead us in the wrong direction. The compass is gonna get off, and even a couple of degrees off can cause a massive destruction. Don't follow your heart. Follow truth. But if truth is subjective, based on how you're feeling and living and following your heart, then you're never gonna become who God has called you to be because conviction and challenging don't come with that.”
