And the aim of that is that you want to build friendships, but you also want to then build on that and share Jesus with them. And so in all of these different ways, we can think about if it's so important to God to build a kingdom, then it needs to be important in my life. How much time am I giving to building the kingdom? How much am I putting into that? None of us can do everything, but all of us can do something. All of us can do something to help build the kingdom. Amen.”

I'm too big to speak in front of five people because I've spoken in front of thousands of people. Or we begin to think, oh, you know what? My gift is too is too prominent for for this audience or for that television program or for that, you know, and we begin to elevate ourselves above who God wants us to to to be. But part of our development is being humble before God.”

“Ask yourself three questions. Where does God constantly use me? When do people genuinely benefit from my ministry? And what ministry in me bears lasting fruit? Those questions are great questions to ask. When you see God use you in an area over and over again and you see actually this is there's fruit in this. People are blessed. People's lives are changed. Then that is an indicator of the gift that God has placed upon you. It might be that you open the scriptures, you begin to teach, and suddenly it's like a light bulb appears on people. And they say, wow. Suddenly, now I understand this scripture because you have explained it to me. That might be a pointer that actually you have a teaching gift that you need to develop and you need to grow and you need to use. Another pointer is confirmation.”

You know, God is never going to make you, the best prophet there is or the best apostle there is or the best teacher there is the moment you discover your gifts. There is always going to be a process of development. There's always going to be a process of growing in the gift. Discovering a gift is the only the beginning. Every gift requires maturity.”

You don't think it's for you, you can move to somewhere else. Go somewhere else, and that is a laboratory where you test and see. Many people wait until they know their gift. Instead, scripture shows us that gifts often become visible while we are served faithfully.”

“I can't say because I'm a prophet and my gifts are prophet and an apostle. I shouldn't be functioning as an evangelist or as a teacher or as a pastor. Those gifts are still to be there. So what I do is I look to the evangelist to say, help me to become a better evangelist. I look to the pastors to say, help me pastor to be a better pastor, to love people more, to care for them. I look at the teachers to say, help me to understand the scriptures more so I can go and teach others the scripture better. And that's what we do. That's what the the body of Christ function. The bible says that it is to get us to maturity, to get the church to maturity. When we all understand why we what we're doing, we grow to maturity.”

“I believe that God sometimes starts us off with a grace gift before we identify what our fivefold gift is. Sometimes it might be that you find, actually, I'm a good administrator, and I love administering, but then you realize I have the love for the scriptures. I have the love for the word, and I want to spend time reading the word and understanding, and then you realize, actually, I have a teaching gift, and the administrative gift marries up with the teaching gift, and that explodes and makes the church so much more mature and equipped because your giftings now have come to fruition and have and are benefiting the church.”
