We're still broken. that's where we look at Jesus coming into the picture. That under the old covenant, day after day, these same sacrifices were being made again, right? So we had a system in place with high priests who would make a sacrifice on behalf of the people. But that priest is also not perfect. They're not fully clean. So they have to make a sacrifice on their behalf. And in this system, these sacrifices for sin could only cover sins past.”
