Types of churches in Celebration

Non-Denominational Churches in Celebration

Contemporary congregations in Celebration emphasize modern worship, practical teaching, and community service. Many host kids’ programs and small groups that meet in neighborhood clubhouses across North Village, South Village, and Artisan Park, with weekend services timed for Disney-area work schedules. Expect casual dress, modern music, and plenty of volunteer opportunities at events near Town Center and Lakeside Park.

Catholic Churches in Celebration

Celebration’s Catholic community centers on the sacraments, weekday Mass, and robust religious education for families connected to Celebration K–8 and nearby schools. Parishes typically sit along Celebration Boulevard or the US‑192 approach, drawing residents from East and West Villages as well as Island Village. Many offer outreach tailored to hospitality workers and healthcare staff at AdventHealth Celebration.

Multicultural & Spanish-Language Churches

Reflecting Osceola County’s large Hispanic population, several congregations in and around Celebration offer bilingual or Spanish-only services and ministries for Puerto Rican and Latin American families. These churches often host cultural events, family nights, and youth programs accessible from Town Center and the 192 corridor. You’ll find translation, bilingual worship teams, and community support for newcomers to the area.

Church Plants & Portable Churches

Newer congregations frequently meet in school auditoriums, community centers, or neighborhood amenities like Spring Park and Artisan Park clubhouses, making them easy to reach by bike or on foot. These church plants typically use mobile setups, series-based teaching, and strong volunteer teams to serve growing areas such as Island Village. Flexible schedules and pop-up events help them connect with residents who commute to the theme parks or along I‑4.

“But why your story matters? Why did you become a Christian? How has Jesus made a difference in your life? These are essential questions that you need to be able to articulate so that when you come across one of your friends or or work associates, and they'll say, you're a church goer? Well, how come? You'll be surprised if you're not prepared, it's just not always an easy answer. It to to get ready for somebody meeting Jesus. This is what telling your story is all about. And and the power of your testimony is this, it can't be refuted. It's personal. It's real. Alright? You're sharing what God has done in your life, what God is doing. It it's evidence of his power and his grace and his love within each one of us. And that's something that people go, oh, they can't refute it. They're now invited to the challenge. So what you're telling me is God does make a difference. What you're telling me is God is real. What you're telling me is I have to rethink my decision about Jesus Christ.”

“``People can say to you that you are rude, you're always complaining, that you're sad, always sad. People can tell you you are inappropriate. Is it a word? Long word. Inappropriate, lazy, not trustable. This is hard. But I need to tell you, Jesus is ready for you. When you learn that, just go to Jesus. He's ready for you. He's looking for restoration for our lives. So people around us, they will listen a new language, kingdom language. Not this anymore. So I encourage you to to believe, to do not deny, receive what people can can give the feedback to you. Amen.”

“And through that, we would have the promise of eternity with him forever. If you hear nothing else from me today, church, do not let another second of God's generosity towards you pass by. Do not miss an opportunity to accept a relationship with him. May we be a church that lives our lives dedicated to honoring the generosity that Jesus has given us through our own generosity in the world around us. When people look at Celebration Community Church and the people who come to this church, may they see mirrors that reflect to the glory of God and not sponges who take it all in for themselves.”

“See how he changed the ending? And here's what I want you to know. God wants to change your ending. Maybe you don't like where your story is going right now. That's when he rolls up his sleeve and does his best work. He puts a new spin on the end of your life story. He he adds to your journey his presence, his spirit, his purposes, his power. K? This is his specialty. And and as Christians, you know, this should be visible in our lives. This one little girl was at Sunday school, and she learned that God's the creator of the universe. And then God also lives inside of our hearts. And so she's she's trying to do the math, space. She goes, well, if God's that big and he lives inside of me, shouldn't he be showing through? And I think that's a question you and I have to ask ourselves. Is God showing through us?”

“``So we need to understand. And and the priest, I need to tell you that is so special. Jesus loves us, and he wants to teach us. So, the priest, he represent the scriptures. The priest represent the connection with the scripture but I want to tell you that that our time reading the Bible to produce actions. We can be so connected with the scripture but we need to produce actions, to produce actions. So Jesus was talking with one of these guys. I don't know if you're reading the Bible, but when we read the Bible need to produce actions, need to make us ready to listen. What's happening around? What is people asking us? The answers people are in need.”

“``Mercy. And in the New Testament, the word, the Greek word for mercy is. It's not English. Okay? And points to the active demonstration of kindness and goodwill toward those who are afflicted or in need. So the man who was attacked, that man, the Jewish man, we are not sure in the bible that there's no registration that he was asking for mercy. I don't know if he said that or not, but it's clear to see that he was in need, And he was close. He was the neighbor close to to these guys. So I believe just listening, just learning about the parable is easy to see. He was in need. He was asking for need. So we could hear that with our spiritual ears.”

“And and here's the thing, sin is is basically living independent from God. Right? And and this is what happened to us. We ended up having a stain on our soul that makes us uncomfortable to get into the presence of God because we know how righteous he is. We can't just enjoy his presence because we we're dragging all this baggage with us. And and the problem is we can't fix it. So God fixed it for us. God, this is so cool, has given us right standing with himself. Not based on anything we've done. It's just what he's done for us through Jesus. the dry cleaner that fixes our shirt and blouse. He's the one who cleans our souls.”

“``Also, I want to tell you that God is ready to help you. You are not alone in this journey. Amen? So Jesus said, go and do this way. And I want to encourage you to go and do this way. Amen? And also if you are here and you are shouting for mercy, If you are here and your life is shouting. Jesus is here for you. This is the day. Maybe you were not expecting. But Jesus is here to transform, to get your hand, to hold your hands, and walk with you through this journey. You are not alone. Mercy is available for you. And I want to pray with you.”

“So we wanna make sure when we're telling our story that that we're putting Jesus on display. K. The focus needs to be on him. I like what the apostle Paul says, God forbid I should boast about anything except the cross of Jesus Christ. Well, I just wanna remind you, Jesus died on the cross for all of our flaws and brokenness. He rose from the grave to make sure that the forgiveness he extended can be actualized. And he's given us freedom so that we're no longer dominated by sin as we lean into him. He's given us an opportunity for new life as we walk with him every day. And that life, friends, it's all summed up in the cross. Really, the cross is a symbol of every purpose God has for us now and in eternity. When we talk about the cross, it's all encompassing. God's plan for you.”

“For the children of God, generosity is assumed. Notice the first part of that second verse we read in Matthew six. So when you give to the needy when you give to the needy. Jesus does not say, so if you give to the needy. He does not say, if there comes a time in your life where you decide to give to the needy. He does not say, once you have all of the wealth that you need to feel comfortable, then you can give to the needy. He doesn't say when it's convenient. He simply says, when you give to the needy.”

Why Celebration churches are unique

This shows up in neighborhood based home groups, community service and local outreach, and family-friendly gatherings and potlucks.
The population mixes young families, professionals, and retirees, plus snowbirds who spend part of the year in Celebration, FL.
