In the same way, God's grace is the source. Just like the river, it flows first. We don't make the water come. We don't earn it. But when we are rooted in the flow of that river of grace, when we allow God's grace to pour out over us, it begins to turn something inside of us. It moves us. It sets us in motion, not for ourselves, but for the world.
