God was asking Joseph and Mary to go through something that was not going to be easy, right? He was asking them to go through some temporary adversity to achieve an eternal victory. Not just for Joseph and Mary. For you and me. For all of us. Aren't you glad Joseph and Mary did it? They were willing to go through it. And that's what God asked them to do.
