Maranatha Chapel

It doesn't elevate us. It exposes us. It shows us how far short we all fall. It's a bit like this. A little while ago, I was at the mall, I was, you know, looking through a store. I found some things that I kinda liked, and so I decided to try them on. I made my way to one of the dressing rooms there. And once I got inside, I noticed something interesting. They had various lighting options for me to try the clothes on with. It's kinda nice. And and, you know, all of those options though, they were very soft and dimly lit. So it was like evening light or sunset light or restaurant lighting, and and and and and it was all dim. There was there was no bright, harsh fluorescent lights. There there was no, like, hospital lighting hospital lighting option. Right? Why? Well, because these stores are smart. They know that it's a key to keep the lighting dim. Soft lighting sells clothes, and and harsh lighting, that exposes things in the mirror that maybe I, as the customer, don't wanna see. The wrinkles show, the the blemishes are highlighted, and and maybe it's not just the clothing that doesn't look so good, but it's the guy trying to wear the clothing, and so I won't buy it.
