Sin comes into the world. And the moment sin and selfishness and flesh comes into the world, we start to think, oh, there's a limited number of resources. And I've got to get mine. And if I don't get my piece of the pie, then maybe I'm at risk of not having a good enough life. And we pull ourselves away from God's ongoing design for how we were to operate on this planet in this life. And we go from a generosity mindset to a scarcity mindset. And we live our lives from this place of fear.
