There's also a little parable in Luke about a fig tree. This fig tree hadn't produced any fruit for three years, and the owner of the fig tree wanted to cut it down. What a useless tree. I don't need it anymore. But the gardener asks for one more year. He says, I'll dig around it and I'll fertilize it, and, I imagine the gardener did so with great love and care. And he says, if that tree doesn't produce any fruit in one more year, then you can cut it down.

Matthew chapter six verse 33 Jesus says, to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. Jesus is his righteousness. Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and in all these things, food, the clothing, the natural needs of your life, they'll be added unto you. When you put first things first, then your needs will be completed. They'll be fulfilled. They'll come into your life and but you gotta go through. Sometimes you gotta go through the the moments of Egypt and you gotta understand that, oh, I'm nothing without him.

So that you may pray. Talks about it individually. This is an individual charge, but this is a communal charge. What does it look like for a church to be alert and sober together so that we can pray? Yes. Oh, man. When you're a part of a body and a family and they were all just alert, we're alert to what's happening. We're sensitive to what's going on in the spirit. We're sober together. We're calm. We're cool. We're collected. We're we're functioning in the spirit with one another so we could hear God's will together. We know where two or more gathered in my name. How do you gather in his name? By being alert and of sober sober mind. So so you got to be together focused on the will of God. You hear him together, and then what happens? A move of the spirit, and then breakthrough comes.
