Jesus has met you all at the well of baptism. He is the faithful husband. And through the gift of water and spirit, you are to be gift givers of the springs of living water. Now here it is. Do you think you're tapped out? Do you think that the spring in you is dry or maybe it's just a trickle so that you're just sort of making it?

IGLESIA HISPANA EMMANUEL-ANNAPOLIS,MD

There's a great enemy out there, and the greatest enemy keeping you from the sense of wow over the cross is the subtle, quiet, poison of self righteousness. It is this belief that you and I can somehow polish our own diamond. But the only way that you and I can experience the brilliance of his forgiveness is to stop trusting in our own self righteousness and keep trusting in the righteousness of god that has been displayed on the cross.

The helmet of salvation, it protects in it. It guards the mind from doubt and fears and disappointments that can cause our fatigue. Because in spiritual warfare, the mind is the spiritual where spiritual battles are fought, and it is the mind that the enemy enemy is going to target. The enemy targets our minds because he understands how God has designed us. He understands how God has created us.

I don't know how it works. I don't know I don't know how it works, but I know it will. I know this is the only way for us to go forward, is to find mutuality, to understand that as a human race, we are interdependent, and we cannot do without one segment of the population. We can't damn or ostracize a or marginalize a group of people because of what they believe or what they do or how they act. It just won't serve. That's not God's kingdom.

As long as we are rooted in prayer, we will keep moving forward. As God leads us together, may Christ's representative at Calvary United Methodist Church see Jesus in all people. You know what will happen? In doing so, God will transform our hearts, our lives, and this very troubled world. Lord, may it be so. Amen.

Not having all the answers, not explaining everything, but simply saying to someone else, come and see. Come and see the one who meets us in our thirst. Come and see the one who refuses to let our stories end in isolation. Come and see the one who turns strangers at a well into a community gathered around living water. Come and see. May it be so. Amen.

All this becomes real to us when we choose to live according to the spirit, not according to our feelings. When we choose to believe what God says about us and see ourselves in a new way, that will then we change the way we act. Listen to this, couple couple thoughts. God's way of deliverance, God does not say to us, change the way you act and then you'll be different. Folks, that is what religion says. Clean up your act. God says this, I have made you different through the gospel of grace. When you believe it, you will be different. You will change the way you act. But we gotta see the truth about ourselves.

This is at the heart of the gospel. Jesus doesn't wait for us. He comes seeking. He always initiates. Maybe you thought of your spiritual journey as your search for god but the deeper truth is that god has been seeking you. Every circumstance that brought you to this moment, every restless longing that wouldn't let you settle for broken cisterns, every disappointment that drove you to look for something more. Jesus has been purposely, graciously, intentionally seeking you.

Bridge Church Annapolis
What a radical notion. Wait a minute. I better say one more time because some folks might have missed that. What did you do? We prayed. And what else did you do? We prayed. Well, I wanna just come forward a few hours Mhmm. To 12:12 last Saturday morning. Mhmm. And a powerful prophetic intercessor named De Havilland Ford Mhmm. Led the group in prayer and in prophetic declaration. Because see, when we pray, we're not just begging. We're not just hoping for a better outcome. When we pray, we are changing history.
