He was calling a smelly fisherman, a man who spoke before he thought, a man who would later deny him three times. But by the time you get to the book of Acts, Peter is standing in Jerusalem boldly preaching Jesus, filled with the holy spirit, and the word says, 3,000 people are saved in one day.
