God knew you were going to be where you are. He knew you were going to go back to where you were. He knew Peter was going to go back to fishing. He knows that we're imperfect people, but in spite of all that, in spite of all that, he continues to say, come follow me. Come follow me. Come follow me. I want you to know my heart, God says. I want you to lean on me. I'm here to heal your brokenness. I'm here to give you meaning and purpose and value. I want you to find those things in me, and maybe today, after being called back, is the day that you allow your story to become God's story.
