If you're planting crop that you want it the farmers will want it to rain early on and then you won't want it to rain for a bit because you want the roots to go deep to find the deeper more sustainable source of water if the roots remain too high up too shallow the crop will fail you want them to bury deep and that's what the dryness in our prayer can do our roots are burying deep to find the more sustainable source of water which is the Lord himself not necessarily what he's given us the person who has given them to us.
