But I just want to leave you with maybe just some things to keep in mind to guide our prayer because as I said, the deepest fulfillment and joy that we can experience as human beings is being more like Christ, which is more united to the Lord. And so that's why prayer is so important. So just some things to keep in mind. The first thing to keep in mind is that prayer is always a response on our part. We never, as human beings, are initiating prayer. God is always the one initiating prayer and he's always the one lovingly inviting us to pray.
