To get you to just keep it to yourself, to live as just an Ephesians two eight and nine Christian, one who is justified, one who's gonna spend eternity with Jesus, one who has got an incredible gift, but one who shuts up about it, goes out into this world and looks like the rest of it. Maybe kinda nice, but not going out and sharing grace, not going out and loving people, not going out and giving the gift that you have been given. He wants you to be one who trains but never actually gets in the game.
