So when we say Jesus is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, we're not being poetic. We're being really precise. To know what God is like, we don't have to guess. We just have to look at Jesus, read his words, watch what he does, how and who he loves. See his desire for justice, his compassion, the truths he tells. Listen to his prayers and pray the prayer that he taught us. When we do, we see God. Not a shadow, not an echo, but God made visible.
