Ransom ChurchInstead of saying everything happens for a reason, scripture says God gives reason to everything that happens. To say everything happens for a reason leaves us in a place where God is doling out suffering for the sake of suffering. But to understand, hey, listen, we live in a broken world. Life happens. Unreasonable things happen. But God is with us in those moments and he takes the unreasonable moments in life and uses them to grow and shape and mold me and make me into his image so ultimately his purpose can come out of chaos and ultimately he can bring beauty from the ashes of life.
