So the same way salvation doesn't just patch up your old heart and gives you a new one, God is doing this with all of creation now. In the scripture Ezekiel says that I'll take your heart of stone and I'll give you a new heart of flesh, that's what happened is happening here. God is doing this with all of creation, not just patching it up but giving a new one.
