The holy spirit is God's promise to us that the home that he has promised us in heaven is waiting on us. It's a guarantee that the life he has given us is eternal and belongs to us now and in the future. It is God's unfailing promise that everything that belongs to his son Jesus also belongs to us. See, the holy spirit is God's good housekeeping seal of approval, that we belong to him, that he belongs to us, and that what he has is ours.
