Believing that all people are made in the image of God, but have become rebels in need of reconciliation with him, Northgate’s mission is to fulfill the Great Commission where the Lord Jesus Christ has placed us: to preach and teach in Albany the good news of God’s redeeming grace, making disciples and baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19). As a community of sinners saved by grace, we gather together in faith to hear God’s Word, to be strengthened by Christ through the Lord’s Supper, and to respond to him in Spirit-enabled worship for his great faithfulness to us. To God alone be glory!
