Mt PisgahThe Bible is to be studied. Next, the Bible soothes. When we study scripture, we discover how it soothed our soul. According to verse 10, the preacher sought to find words of delight. The word delight here refers to desires or pleasure. This makes me think of Psalm 119, 103, where the word says, how sweet are your words to my taste? Sweeter than honey to my mouth. Friends, when we get into God's word, there is nothing better to read.
