Fathers, husbands, according to Scripture, you are the head of the family. But you are not to lord it over the family. The fact that you are the head of the family means that you are the chief servant. You serve your wife. You serve your children. Yes, you lead. And yes, your word carries carries with it the imprimatur of God’s plan in the family. But never forget fathers and dads, husbands. He that would be Lord of all must be servant of all.
